Why do I need this form?

During the period of August 1 through November 1, the upcoming property tax bill is locked by the District for adjustments and cannot be amended. This enables our team to get the Tax Collector's the updated Tax Roll Data.

This means the upcoming 2026 Tax Bill includes one remaining installment payment for the PACE Assessment and cannot be amended. The Property Tax Bill must be paid accordingly.

Prepayments during these dates mean:

  • This payment is paying off the PACE Assessment in full AND will have one installment due through the Property Tax Bill creating an overpayment.

  • The PACE Assessment will be completely removed in the [Nov 1] 2027 Property Tax Bill.

What happens with the overpayment?

  • Upon receiving the PACE Assessment through the property tax bill and a reconciliation of the account, overpayments in the amounts larger than $100.00 will be refunded no later than June 30th. The Annual Assessment Administration Fee and current Annual Tax Collection Administration Fee are not refundable.

All prepayments for the FL HERO Program or PACE Funding Group are processed with the Florida Development Finance Corporation, the administrator for the Florida Resiliency and Energy District.
